The Colonial Period in America
The seventeenth and early eighteenth century saw a massive movement of people
from Europe and America. They migrated together with their ideas, language, religions,
thoughts and beliefs. Their attempts to impose new ideas and traits bore fruits as they
successfully managed to implant their terms and conditions wherever they settled. The
colonial period in America can be termed as a projection by the Europeans to Americans. The

to alter the doctrines of the Church of England. These individuals wanted to create a different
Christian religion that differed with that of the Church of England. This particular
