Opportunistic infections tend to take advantage of the opportunity on a host
with a weak immune system compared to the one with a strong immune system. Healthcare
providers should be able to treat any kind of Opportunistic infections just as they occur. For
instance, HIV doubles more as the weak immune system in fighting with other infections and
treating those infections as they occur is very much important as far as protecting further HIV
damage is concerned. Healthcare providers can also opt to teach the patients on how to prevent
OIs. That is, some of those infections can be prevented although others are a bit difficult to
avoid since we are exposed to them almost like every day for instance PAC. All in all,
practicing safer sex, cooking food and washing it well, handling animal well and even going
