Economic globalization includes flows of goods and services across borders, international capital flows, reduction in tariffs and trade barriers, immigration, and the spread of technology, and knowledge beyond borders. It is source of much debate and conflict like any source of great power.
Scope and Methodology
International cooperation has been dramatically expanding throughout the world economy. It is the objective development of diverse economic, scientific, and technological ties among individual countries and groups of countries and between the socialist and capitalist socioeconomic and political systems, based on the principles of independence, equality, and mutual advantage. Essentially the process represents the intensification of the international division of labor.
