You can use maximum 500 words for the infographic from the 1500
As a newly appointed Marketing Assistant at one of the below department stores, you will need
to create an infographic which demonstrates the customer journey of your chosen market
segment. Your work will be presented at a forthcoming ‘Away Day’ for your company’s product
category and marketing managers. The infographic will be assessed on how well the subject's
relevance is communicated to the target audience, its underpinning academic application; and
its visual clarity.
●
John Lewis
●
A report justifying the content and design is to be submitted with the infographic.
●
Senior management will also see your report so it should contain FULLY REFERENCED
EVIDENCE supporting your commentary.
●
You need to choose one of department stores
●
Choose market segment and create a customer profile
○
Customer profile should include:
■
Demographics – their age, gender, income, etc.
■
Psychographics – their personality type, preferences, etc.
■
Behaviour – their similar likes and dislikes, sports, hobbies, etc.
The infographic will be assessed on how well the subject's relevance is communicated to the
target audience, its underpinning academic application; and its visual clarity.
●
A report justifying the content and design is to be submitted with the poster.
●
Senior management will also see your report so it should contain fully referenced
evidence supporting your commentary.
1) Your infographic should include the following elements:
●
Visual representation of the target customer persona & Customer Journey
●
All elements of all the touch-points
●
An explanation on what the customer is thinking, feeling and doing?
Your Report:
●
A brief explanation of the customer journey
●
Identify elements of the customer journey, which could be improved.
●
Your recommendation regarding your company’s potential response to the
problems and enhance customer experience.
●
The use of relevant theory to support your recommendation
2) Your manager's objectives in setting this task are:
●
To assess your ability to utilise a range of source materials. Simple replication of
data or material from the available sources will not be enough to reach a good standard
(i.e. you will not get beyond 59%).
●
To assess your ability to structure the presentation of your ideas to a designated
audience.
3) Ask yourself the following questions when structuring your supporting report:
●
Have you clearly explained the customer journey and your choice of strategy?
●
How can you use your formative feedback to help you shape your work?
●
Is your report presented in a clear, understandable form? Poor English will be
penalised as it indicates a lack of care in presenting your work.
In order to show your ability to structure the information in a clear, concise manner your
manager requires the supporting report to BE LIMITED TO 2 sides of A4 (EXCLUDING
APPENDICES, TABLES, ETC.).

Questions relating to the report
1. What is word count for the report?
● As mentioned above the total word count for the assignment is 1500 +10% or -10%
1. What relevant theories should I use?
●
This depends on the recommendations you are suggesting. You will need to ensure that
it is relevant to the aspects of the customer journey map, which needs improving. For
Example if its improving the store layout, then you will need to use one of the theories
covered in the managing the selling environment lecture.
1. What shall I cover when explaining the customer journey map in the report?
●
This section you will need to ensure that you don’t repeat what you have explained in the
visual representation of customer journey. This section should bring the info-graphic and
report together. For example provide definition of customer journey then state what
customer journey map is based on? E.g. the customer journey illustrated above is based
…. You may include the definition of customer journey and reference it.
1. The writing style
You can use 1st person or 3rd person when you are writing the report
● The structure of the report
As I have explained in the assignment brief you are following standard report format like this:
● Ex summary is not required
● Content page
● Introduction: In this section, you don’t need to provide background information about the
company since you work for them and remember and the report is for internal
colleagues.
● Main body
● Conclusion
● Reference list
● (This should be in two sections, one section for sources you have used for the
infographic and second section the sources you have used for the report).
Appendices
● Make sure one of your appendices is a screen shot of the infographic

Colorado Technical University Business Economics Balance of payments Analysis
Assignment DescriptionOne of the more important measures in regard to international economics is the balance of payments. Think of it as a national accounting measure that looks at the flow of goods and services into and out of an economy in a given period of time. It also shows capital flows into and out of a country. Until 1980, the United States tended to run a positive-to-neutral balance of payments position and was a creditor nation. In the course of the past 30 years, the United States has moved to a negative balance of payments and to being a debtor nation. Review and discuss the following:Discuss the importance of the balance of payments as an accounting measure. Discuss the current account and its components and the capital and financial accounts and their components. How important is the U.S. deficit in traded goods in regard to the balance of payments? Here are some relevant articles to help you with this assignment:The Changing Nature of the U.S. Balance of Payments Balance of PaymentsPlease submit your assignment. For assistance with your assignment, please use your text, Web resources, and all course materials.ReferencesHellerstein, R., & Tille, C.
