Responding to Student 1 Classmates, I do not like learning math online. Math is a subject that I really struggle with and I definitely have some issues with the online format. I am not able to find the help that I need, I still do alright but it takes me hours longer than it would if I had real world access to classmates and the instructor. It's hard for me to think of an improvement for the class, the StatsLab is really good. I like the videos, the lady does a great job explaining everything. I also feel like Prof Stephanie Caggiano has done a great job answering my questions when I needed some help. I did have some issues with the last quiz where I was off on some answers by one thousandth and I'm not sure how that happened, I double checked for rounding. For my "keep-quit-start" section I'll offer up this. I'm going to keep working hard, setting aside plenty of time to retake the homework until I really understand how to solve the problem. I'm going to quit spending so much time reading the book and focus more on watching the videos and doing the practice problems out of the book. I'm going to start trying to get the time to work a little everyday instead of stuffing it all into every other day. I think that should help. Overall, I am really enjoying this class. I am having a lot of fun with the statistics, I feel like I've learned so much and I have had a lot of fun with it all. I am really excited to see what happens next. Thanks for being such great classmates and you too Prof! Colburn Responding to Student 2 Honestly, I love math but I will say statistics so far is not my favorite subject when it comes to math. I do however like that we do some of our problems in excel. Excel is one of the universal applications that a majority of companies use so it is awesome that I get to learn more about the different uses and formulas that you can do with excel. I think one thing that could make the class better is possibly having an open forum for peer help for each week. That way if we are stuck on a problem we can ask our classmates to help us have a better understanding of the problems. Keep: I tend to use Youtube and google for problems that I am stuck on. I will keep doing this as it helps me a lot to see someone or show more examples on how to break down a problem. I also use the example button in our homework a lot, that seems to help me a lot too. Quit: If I do not get a problem right away I tend to start getting stressed and I will over think the problem. Once I start to overthink the problem I just shut my computer and I will come back to it later. Start: One thing I will start doing is hiding my notes from my kids. I was taking the test and noticed a page was missing out of my notebook that I had written my formulas on. Unfortunately, my 6 and 2 year old think that anything that is paper they can draw on. -Cree

Learning math online
Online learning is spreading fast throughout the world nowadays. Though there are advantages and
disadvantages of learning math online, I really love it. I think it is the most suitable way of learning for a
subject like math.
We can save a lot of money when we are learning math online. We don’t have to pay for classroom
space, equipment and books. If we have right hardware, math software and related materials, then we
can learn math more comfortably than in traditional way of learning. Another advantage of online math
learning is, communication with...
