In Kansas City, we hear that troost is the most violent street in the city, but it was just a stereotype and when I walked there I met some great people, they were humble and outgoing and there is a lot of poverty in this street and a lot of homeless people.

The Troost Avenue
The Troost Avenue is one of the streets that is found in Kansas City and runs from the 4th
street to the 95th street. The Avenue is named after Dr. Beneoist Troost who came to the area
from Holland. Dr. Troost who died in the year 1859 was the first resident physician in the area.
For an extended period, Troost Avenue has been used as a racial dividing line with most whites
living on the West of the Avenue while blacks are found on the eastern side. This division line
