Comparison and Contrast between Goddess Bast and Isis

In the ancient periods, many societies worshiped mother-like figures as their deity.
These communities use to honor theses sacred feline deities with their arts, heroes, and these
figures were symbols of something’s that could be revered most times. Significantly, these
societies honor these female figures in the shrines and temples. However, the feline deities from
the ancient cultures extensively varied as some protected their worshippers by fighting battles,
some perfumed tricks, and magic to protect their loved ones, and others fought with their siblings
and their loved ones. Specifically, ancient Egyptians had numerous deities and gods whom they
worshipped for many purposes and reasons. Good examples of these feline deities are Goddesses
Bast and Isis. Bast was the cat-like deity who protected the young children, women and she also
assisted women with fertility challenges to conceive. Isis, on the other hand, was the fertility,
rebirth and magic goddess to the vast Egyptian society according to the Egyptian mythology.
Although these two goddesses are from the ancient Egypt society, there is variation how they
were worshipped, and there are different and similarities on the mythology, Theogony, and roles
played by the goddess.
