In a segment of writing Aristotle notes, “Thus if a house, e.g., had been a thing made by
nature, it would have been made in the same way as it is now by art; and if things made by nature
were made not only by nature but also by art, they would come to be in the same way as by
nature. The one, then, is for the sake of the other; and generally, art in some cases completes
[epiteleitai] what nature cannot bring to a finish, and in others imitates [mimeitai] nature
(Physics, 199a).”
In the broad sense, philosophy is a branch of science which is focused on coming up with
theories, and assertions of the things that surround man. Thus, it is correct to note that
technology, and philosophy tend to integrate efficiently just as showcased in different claims by
Aristotle. From the assertions by Aristotle it is correct that there is a connection between nature,
and technology, and thus it is the responsibility of man to come up with strategies which can help
him incorporate the natural concepts into the development of technology. In this case, Aristotle
tends to come up with theories, and themes which can be used to explain the advancements of
