Description

Write an initial post that addresses the following: In the U.S. today, the modern media is all pervasive. We live in a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year news cycle that is often considered to be negative as well as biased in its coverage. In your initial post, address the following questions.

  • Is the modern media biased and negative in its coverage of news in the U.S. and how does this coverage affect the American culture? Again, defend your position with examples.
  • What can we as citizens do to combat an increasingly negative and overreaching media? If you believe that there is nothing wrong with the media today, then defend that argument here.
