Introduction

The success and development of humanity can be attributed to the way we have managed
to perfect skills. This perfection often stems from passing down these skills from one person to
another, and even from generation to generation. This is the very purpose of training. Granted,
any professional can attest training is not a simple thing to do. It needs time, monetary
investment, a little bit of patience, discipline and a hint of intelligence (Jackson, 1986).
Training is more than just passing down of skills. As academia, has continuously proven,
training can improve a profession. Indeed, the competitive nature of the world has made training
a necessity, for any field. The demand for perfection in all professional fields has demanded for
more effective methods of training.
However, this demand is not entirely self- correcting. There exists a gap between the
