The second Unit assignments deal with economics, populations, and environmental policy-making. These topics affect access to resources and food. As the basis of discussion, please view the video above.
If you are unable to view the video, here are some instructions:
- If you are not already using Google Chrome as your browser, please switch to it or go to www.google.com/chrome to download the browser.
- Navigate to your course and look for the Lock (Secure) button. It is located to the left of your web address at the very top left of the browser. Click on this button.
- In the menu, click on "Site Settings" near the bottom.
- A new tab should pull up. In this tab look for "Flash" and select the "Allow" option to the right of Flash.
- Navigate back over to your course and refresh the web page. Your videos should now start working.

2) Based on the video, pick one or more topics to research and discuss (economics, or population, or environmental policy-making issues);
