Option 1: Point of View
A frame narrative tells stories within stories. In Frankenstein, Mary Shelley provides a
frame narrative by allowing Walton, Frankenstein, and the Monster a chance to explain
their point-of-view at various times in the novel. Each of these narrations helps to
influence the reader's perception of the story.
This assignment has three parts.
First, in three well-developed paragraphs of at least 7 sentences each, explain the
different perspectives of the story though the eyes of Walton, Frankenstein, and the
Monster. How does each perspective help to build the overall theme of the story?
Second, in a paragraph of at least 7 well-developed sentences, explain which character
you most identity with. Why are you drawn to this character?
Finally, in a paragraph of at least 7 well-developed sentences, explain your opinion of
who the real “monster” is in the story. Why do you feel this way?
Option 2: Modern Frankenstein
In an essay of at least 1000 words, answer the following:
With modern technology, is it possible to recreate Dr. Frankenstein's experiment?

This assignment at least 1000 words and must contain evidence from the story to
support your claim properly cited in MLA format. As well, three outside sources must be
used to provide modem scientific evidence of the possibility of recreating Dr.
Frankenstein’s experiment. These sources must also be properly cited in MLA Format.
Remember the modern science has come a long way in the past 20 year alone in
relations to organ transplants and prosthetics. Imagine the innovative possibilities 20
years into the future! Dig deep to find the evidence needed to complete the essay.

Based on the knowledge gained in researching your chosen service organization and concepts taught in this class on developing a mission and vision, draft a new and improved mission and vision statement for the organization. You should include not only the new mission and vision but also an appropriate rationale for the mission and vision including elements of the organization as well as required elements needed in a well written mission and vision statement.
Share the new mission and vision statement you created with at least two other people capable of giving you feedback on the soundness of your new mission and vision (fellow student, volunteer, or non-profit employee, etc.). After getting feedback from the first person, revise the mission and vision statements to accommodate the new ideas or suggestions. Do this again with the second person. Document the feedback received and how you revised the statements each time. In other words, you must complete two rounds of sharing and revising your mission and vision statement. Make sure you explain what advice you followed (and why) and what advice you felt didn’t warrant changes (and why).

The Web site also provides a toll–free number for customer service, seven days per week, from 8:00am–11:30pm. I pressed Continue to start the three steps. The first step was to authenticate my identity, so I provided my access code, Social Security number, and date of birth. The items tabbed nicely from one item to the next and showed a picture of where the digital access code was located. Step two asked me to create security credentials. It included a new password, and then I had to answer several security questions that will be alternately asked when I log in to my account. The final step shows me my answered questions in a nonediting mode, asks me to review my security information, and informs me that an incorrect answer to a security question will lock me out of my account. Clicking “Add now” will take me to a Consumer Information page that asks me to check a box to confirm that I have read and agreed to the Account Disclosure, Electronic Disclosure and Consent Agreement, and Internet Banking Agreement.
