Description

The Critical Thinking Project is to read the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and watch the video of Supreme Court Justice (Links to an external site.) Ruth Bader Ginsberg explaining the purpose. Do not copy the information for your paper from the Amendment. That is already in the instructions.

How are equal rights applied and what does that provide for society. For example, explain how this Amendment can impact the states' rights; need to be very clear & give example of the issue & scope & impact. Or how does the 14th provide for equal protection & due process of the law. Use an issue you are interested in, have fun with it. Do not go too broad; use a couple of examples. You may use the Oyez ITT (Links to an external site.) - Chicago School of Law & other academic journals for additional information. Check US Courts Landmark Cases (Links to an external site.) for ideas.

Minimum 3 academic sources. Make sure you include MLA citation for websites and intext citations, including Annenberg video.

Report must be at least 1000 words. And upload to Turnitin with proper document in doc, docx or rft files only. If you have any problems submitting assignments, call the HELP Desk immediately.
