Introduction
In definition terms, divorce is the separation between a married couples leading to ending
of the marriage before the death of either spouse. Also, a marriage can be brought to an end
through an official decision in the court of law. Nowadays divorce events are not being
considered a deal as compared to the past generation. On an annual basis, there are millions of
marriage and divorce that happen in the United States. The occurrence of everyone has vital
records for its occurrence. These records are used by the government agencies, individuals and
other entities for a variety of purposes. For example in the United States, this data is used in
some area such as the access to private health insurance of the spouse. The government, on the
other hand, use this record in the process of determining the eligibility for benefit programs and
benefit amounts. In addition, the researchers will use the same records in the determination of
marriage and divorce rate. The collection and the storage other vital records are governed by the
state laws (Bramlett, 2011). This implies that there must be a consideration in the amount of the
record that they collect. In some, there will be the collection of the information concerning the
simple divorces and marriage while others will collect the more complex information about the
couple demographic information among others. In an area that is more developed, the state will
collect information about marriage and divorce electronically from the local offices and the court
