The American popular culture also known as the vernacular or pop culture comprises
of many elements which influence it. Popular culture entails the customs, preferences,
behaviors, and tastes that are embraced by the larger part of the American population at any
given time (Crothers, 2017). Just like any other society’s popular culture, the American’s pop
culture binds a large mass of people together, despite their difference and diversities; it
unifies them into a uniform cultural identity. American popular culture is derived from
numerous sources mostly the mass media (commercial). Some of the examples of pop
