Just like various big kid genres, the film musical can be divided into various sub-genres
due to their structural diversity. The two major sub-genres in the musical are backstage (nonintegrated and integrated musical). An integrated musical is what people think of whenever they
get to think of musicals. Instead of embracing the use of musical numbers as a performance for
the movie's audience and the audience in the theatre as well as in-film performance, integrated
musical makes use of the musical numbers for just narrative purposes. In the case of the
integrated musical, the plot and musical number is one thing in common. Instead of affecting the
plot at the expense of spectacle dance numbers and the song make up an integral part of the plot
