Hatred of the Jews, Anti-Semitism, and Mass Murder of the Jewish in Germany
Introduction
The hatred of the Jews, their annihilation by the Nazi leaders and anti-Semitic attitudes
have defined their existence in a world that has found more reasons to propagate these positions.
Even before the Holocaust, anti-Semitism was commonplace in Europe as Jews were prejudiced
and isolated as they lived in ghettos before their emancipation that started in France. In this
essay, the paper discusses Jewish hatred by Adolf Hitler and as a component of Nazi Germany's
policy from its beginning. The paper also explores the factors that contributed to the widespread
increase in anti-Semitism in both 19th and 20th centuries. In its final part, the essay discusses the
reasons that led Nazi leaders to annihilate the Jews during the Holocaust.

Jewish prejudice was rife in Vienna as the Jewish were hated because of their social and
economic power that came after their European Emancipation. While many believed that Jewish
influence in political organizations like the spread of capitalism and later on communism caused
their hatred, Hitler and the Nazi believed that the Jews used their influence to ensure that
Germany lost in the World War I (Hall, 2005). The Germans and Hitler held the Jews
responsible for the loss. The emancipation of the Jews in the second half of the 19 th century led
to their increased integration into society and economy. This trend attracted backlash and led to
