An American philosopher known as Francis A. Schaeffer is the author of the book. The
God Who Is There. Apart from being a philosopher, he is also a Christian theologian. Hence, he is
one of the few respected Christian authors at all times. The book was published in the year 1968.
However, this book is a Book One in Volume One of the works completed by the American
philosopher. This book review will provide a clear analysis and review of the book God Who Is
There by the Francis A. Schaeffer.
Francis A. Schaeffer mainly inspired many generations to follow his work. The author
passed difficult theological and philosophical ideas to the common Christians. The truth of
knowledge or epistemology was his main aim. He wanted to clear the way in focusing fully on t his
matter. During that time, there were very many perspectives on the truth of knowledge. Various
Christian believers had different views on the issue. Hence, the older generation did not agree with
the younger generation on this matter. He wrote this book when there were many beliefs about the
story of life and how the world would end.
Francis A, Schaeffer did this by first putting up straight that relativism is better than
antithesis. This book was published many years ago. This gave a chance to the younger generation
of that time an opportunity to grow and mature. Currently, the younger generation of that time is
mature and grown-up people. They can now fully understand and appreciate relativism over
antithesis. The book analysis was produced at the times where morals, values and religion were
appreciated in the society, contrary to the modern life where scientific reasons define truths in
daily life experience.
Furthermore, the book is divided into six sections. The first section deals with the late
twentieth-century intellectual climate. A line of despair demarcates a major shift around 1935. The
