- Project Management Group Project Rubric The following instructions define the requirements for the group project. The Project Report, Project Schedule and Project Presentation. Project Report (MS Word/MS Excel) 1. Use the following elements listed here as the structure to construct your "Project Report". An example [e.g. sample of a previous project] will be provided as a "template" to build from. a. Include appropriate cover page with course information, student/group information b. Include table of contents c. In the 1st section of the document, clearly define the project background and statement of need d. In the 2nd section of the document, clearly define the goals of the project e. In the 3rd section of the document, identify each of the goals of the project, and clearly define the objectives of each one of the goals. Note: The goals, objectives, and approach tasks should be what you have included in the "Executing" phase within the project schedule. f. In the 4th section of the document, clearly describe the Risk Management Plan, to include: i. A paragraph description of the importance of Risk Management and what your "general approach" will be for managing risks on your project ii. 3 to 4 Project Risks a) These can be included in the "Risk Register" within the MS Excel file iii. 3 to 4 risk response strategies for risks identified. v. You may include "Risk Assessment Worksheet" with the details from one of the 3 to 4 risks identified for the project. h. In the 5th section of the document, clearly describe the Communications Management Plan, to include: i. A description of the importance of Communications Management and what your "general approach" will be for managing communications and managing stakeholder expectations on your project. ii. Identification of Project Stakeholders. iii. Communication "Plan". iv. Information Distribution Plan. i. In the 6th section of the document, clearly describe the Quality Management Plan. Every resource within the org chart is included in the "Resource Sheet" in the Project Schedule ii. In this section of the document, include a description of the WBS [does not need to be every task within the project] to include: i. Words that describe what the WBS means and what it represents ii.
