Question Description
The CDS' most vulnerable were those that involved mortgage-backed
securities in the sub-prime lending market. Lehman was left holding the
bag on a huge number of CDS' on what turned out to be worthless
mortgages. What other firms were burned by such securities? What were
the extent of their losses?
