Question Description

An inference is a conclusion drawn from evidence or reasoning; something that is implied. We use our own experiences and clues from what we hear and see to make educated guesses – or inferences – every day.

Watch Ragu, Long Day of Childhood:  Hamster (go to YouTube.com, search for Ragu Hamster), again:

In the video, a little girl gazes at a hamster in a cage and questions her father about whether or not this is the same hamster that was sick just a couple of days ago. She doesn’t quite believe her father when he says her hamster recovered?

Why does she doubt him?

What do you think happened to the hamster? Why do you think that?
