Description

For this discussion, you'll need to be well versed in Holloway and the lectures. (If you've read Wright, he can help considerably for this question.)

Compare and contrast Christianity and Islam in terms of the following characteristics:

1. Notion of God

2. Notion of the prophets.

3. Violence in Scripture.

4. Violence in practice.

5. Roles and treatment of women in scripture and in practice.

Think of this as a single brief essay. Ask yourself, to what degree are these two lines of the Abrahamic heritage suited to the modern world? Then fit the above characteristics into your response.
