The author goes further to explain how this leads to stigmatization of the INSERT SURNAME HERE 2 patients and they are filled with fear. Zombie is commonly referred to as the living dead, so when the AD patients are compared to them, it becomes dehumanizing. In my assessment, the article will be of use to me as I carry out my research. It is also relevant since it helps in viewing zombies in another light other than that of the film. Susan Behuniak is a well-known author and a professor at Le Moyne College. When the concept of Zombies is misused, it ends up hurting people. The New York Times 3 (2010). The article talks about zombies and how they are similar to the modern life. According to the author, there is nothing complicated about killing a zombie. Killing a zombie is the same process whereby you die one of them, and you have to kill all the others that follow. The same thing happens in real life; people have to go about their experience in repetition. For instance, opening a laptop and performing the same task over and over again. Chuck in his article goes on to tell why Zombies are exciting and why most people like watching shows that have Zombies. In my opinion, the article is relevant because it gives a person a clear understanding of what Zombie is and why people are fascinated by them. Running head: BIBLIOGRAPHY ANALYSIS Bibliography Analysis Name Institution Affiliation Date 1 BIBLIOGRAPHY ANALYSIS 2 Introduction The victims of Alzheimer diseases are ultimately dehumanized as dead or as if death is so close they are treated with pity. The article by Behuniak (2011); the living dead? The construction of people with Alzheimer's disease as zombies addresses the experiences of the victims of this disease. Behuniak (2011) understands that we live in an age, people as individuals and communities are very sensitive to any form of dehumanization or harm; social and political by stigma, stereotype, and discrimination by any disease such as the Alzheimer's. The comparison of patients of the AD with zombies is a common dehumanization factor, and this is so extensive in literature. In defense, the scholars of the AD diseases base the disease source of stigma as the biomedical understanding of the disease. The focus of this paper as an analysis of this article; Behuniak 2011 defining its relevance with the study of Zombies based on the credibility of its source and the themes which are addressed therein. Susan Behuniak, the author of this article, is a professor at Le Moyne College and the article gives an ethical foundation in the study of zombies through her apparent devotion to an emphasis on the dehumanization of AD patients. Discussion Article Summary The articles consider how the Alzheimer's disease, as well as the people diagnosed with it, is highly stigmatized. The author gives a clear mind that these negative emotional responses of AD have emerged from the social comparison of its victims with zombies despite literature perception that the extensive biomedical understanding has caused it. Zombie trope in the popular culture in the popular culture is horrifying, and thus it is highly problematic when the AD patients are compared with it in the films and various literature. The articles have worked to BIBLIOGRAPHY ANALYSIS 3 identify seven ways in which the zombie metaphor is referenced on AD for both the popular and the scholarly research. For example director, George Romero's film Night of the Living Dead zombies are metaphors of consumerism, relationships of race and involvement of the US with Vietnam and it has been the subject of much analysis. The common referencing of zombies has been found significant helping to define the social discourse of AD and the politics of disgust that marginalizes the victims of the AD. Victims of AD suffer permanent and intense negative emotions. According to Behuniak (2011) the stories that exist of origin trace them to West Africa before traveling to Haiti. Assessment of the Source Literature of popular and scholarly origin has supported the work of Susan Behuniak. The article focus on the dehumanizing factor of AD patients which come along in the era of increased sensitivity to the social and political harms an indication of relevance for use in the current global issues. Articles Published by Cambridge journals are reputable with literature across all the major nations. Susan Behuniak is a professor at Le Moyne College with a distinguished credential in the political and social literature. This article is a development of the author's several reviews with recommendations from other reputable scholars. An example is that the earlier version of this article had been presented to the Western Political Science Association's in 2009 and the author has developed the final copy from a recommendation from Daniel Engster who is a professor in the University of Texas at St. Antonio amongst other reviewers. The article incorporates a diversified body of knowledge. Her work demonstrates a foundation in literature towards criticism on the dehumanization of the AD patients a foundation based on extensive literature. The article published less than a decade ago has examples which are relevant, and the scholarly approval is within the current regulation of the Cambridge journals. BIBLIOGRAPHY ANALYSIS 4 Reflection to the Project Behuniak (2011) article is a significant source in establishing the foundation of my research. The article defines the origin of Zombies and how they have evolved in almost a century. The article will be useful in my development of literature review within a broad scope of knowledge. The aspects of development include the political, social and ethical impacts of Zombies. Establishing a different view of the zombies as a hindrance to the development within the health sectors for AD patients is a significant investment of the article. Also of great significance is its usefulness in laying the foundation for the modern understanding of zombies. Earlier literature has significantly dehumanized the AD patients through association with the zombies. By understanding the social impact of dehumanization to the AD patients, the article will give the project a significant and unique social taste. Various data such as the response of people towards zombies will have a foundation established by this article. The article will also lay a foundation for integration of other sources from the past to the present and the future recommendations. From the understanding of the Zombie trope, the article will help to establish a proposal to further research in ways to use the zombies with social care. Conclusion Susan Behuniak, the author of this article, is a professor at Le Moyne College and the article gives an ethical foundation in the study of zombies through her apparent devotion to an emphasis on the dehumanization of AD patients. It has been found that the article forms a reputable source of modern literature of zombies. The Alzheimer's disease, as well as the patients, are victims of dehumanization through association with the zombies. The association of AD patients with zombies gives a complicated view of the patients. The zombies, unlike the vampires, are a sign of weakness lacking the human nature without possessing any supernatural BIBLIOGRAPHY ANALYSIS 5 strength. The zombie trope in the popular film culture is horrifying bringing trouble in various literature as it compared with AD patients. The article by Behuniak (2011) gives a significant development of research in the political, social and ethical impacts of zombie. In my understanding this article is has a significant role in defining the literature of zombies in the future. I recommend this article in the projects to understand zombies' impact to be political and social settings when used both in popular and scholarly literature. Annotated Bibliography

Writing an annotated bibliography for the project zombies was an extensive task. The most
challenging part of this paper was identifying the references to use for the project. For this project,
there is need to put into consideration that the Zombies have a historical foundation and the various
application in literature. Both scholarly and popular literature has a different opinion concerning
the zombies. Ethical consideration in the bibliography is of the essence in the project. There was
also need to consider the source regarding the relevance in the future context. Working to satisfy
this entire requirement made this to be the most challenging part of this paper. This is also the part
that I spent much time as it would be necessary to consider reviewing the source after the
annotation to ensure that its key strengths are relevant to the project and the critical weakness
forms the least relevant part of the plan. All the bibliography selected has been published within
fewer than ten years to ensure that they are related to the current ...
