From a management perspective, undoubtedly I think that target made some major
mistakes. Mistakes started with a security blogger, who broke the news claiming that Target was
concealing its troubles from customers and other stakeholders. This happened after Target
administrators revealed the same to the Department of Justice and then the organization
attentively enlisted a legal agent. A silent approach to the situation failed to work accordingly
(Dezenhall). It thus comes out that Target made a serious mistake by failing to notify its
customers and other stakeholders before having to learn the same from other information
sources. They could have passed the news to their stakeholders as soon as the found out about it
breach of security in their system. Notably, that they had to get prepared notify the customers
first. Most consumers must have gained the notion that Target was trying to hide such crucial
information from them, which would later become difficult for the company to regain their trust.
They hardly held the fact that trust is never obtained back once broken, which is what actually
