Chapter 1
This chapter introduces Jesus as a teacher of the Jewish and a carpenter’s son from Nazareth.
The healing power of Jesus as the son of God is demonstrated in this chapter where the Pharisees
brought their sick people to Jesus so that they can be healed. People began to disagree with Jesus
actions in this chapter due to the power he had of making people free from their sins and also
healing them. People had many questions of because they did not know who the man was. Jesus
taught many people so that they can act as disciples to spread the gospel to the others.

Chapter 2
This chapter talks about the birth of Jesus. The birth of Jesus was miraculous because His mother
Mary conceived through the power of the holy spirit where God sent angel Gabriel to announce
the birth. Mary was engaged to Joseph where he did not believe when he noticed his wife to be
Mary was pregnant. Jesus was born in Bethlehem when Herod was the king of the Jews. During
that period Herod ordered all the boy child in that area to be killed where baby Jesus was one of
them but by the power of Jesus, He was not killed. This chapter also talks about the birth of John
the Baptist by Zachariah and Elizabeth in their late ages.
Chapter 3
This chapter explains how Jesus was born. During that period there where census which was to
take place on Bethlehem. The family of Joseph and his wife Mary who was heavily pregnant

traveled from Nazareth to Bethlehem for the Jesus. When they arrived, her labor began because
the census took long. There was no place for her to give birth because the place was full due to
the census. Mary finally gave birth to her child in a Manger which indicated that Jesus was an
ordinary baby. After the birth, wise men from East came to see Jesus who were led by a star.
They carried precious gifts like gold which indicated a royal birth.
Chapter 4
This chapter talks about the events which took place after the birth of Jesus. After 8 days, Jesus
went through a rite of circumcision before his parents going to Jerusalem temple for the
dedication of the baby. After the wise men saw baby Jesus Herod had told them to return a report
but God talked to them in a dream not to go back to Herod but use other ways. Herod had a plan
to kill Jesus but his parent escaped to Egypt until Herod died. They went back after the death of
Herod where Jesus was baptized in river Jordan by John the baptized to start his ministry.
Chapter 5
This chapter talks about David who was termed as the great king preaching the gospel to the
people so that they can worship the True God. There were very many idol worshipers in that
region. In this chapter is when Jesus started His ministry where He preached the gospel to
everybody. Jesus was sent to free the captives from their oppressors and also to forgive people of
their sins, therefore, He was trying to fulfill that. Jesus was from the lineage of King David.
Chapter 6
This chapter talks about Jesus preaching the gospel to the tax collector Levi and the other tax
collectors who mistreated the Jewish by collecting illegal taxes. The Pharisees termed
themselves as the pure people, therefore, they were mad at Jesus when they saw him interacting

with the tax collectors and the sinners. God used the ten commandments which were given to
Mosses to preach the gospel. He preached for six days in a week and rested the seventh day
because it was the sabbat...
