The Coca-Cola Company has been selected for analysis in this assignment. The
company manufactures, bottles, and distributes non-alcoholic beverages in almost every
nation around the world. Based on global data provided by Statistica (2018) for the year 2015,
Coca-Cola Company controlled at least 48.6% of the global non-alcoholic beverages industry.
This was a huge market control considering that its closest competitor, PepsiCo, had just
20.5% of the total market share. Although the Coca-Cola Company has a huge global
coverage, it is one of the most decentralized companies. As reported by Linnander, Yuan,
Ahmed, Cherlin … Pastakia (2017), the company has many regional operations make key
decisions regarding their respective regions hat spearhead business in their respective regions.
There are a number of ways that the Coca-Cola Company meets the qualities of worldliness as
