You will be able to apply what they have learned to solve a real world problem that you could use to in your future career. Create a 5- to 6-slide presentation that must include: • • • One slide on the Introduction o Introduce your topic and question that you chose in Week 2. o Why did it interest you? How does it relate to life? o What should the audience learn from your presentation? Three to four slides of your visuals o Show your tables, scatter plot, other 2 visuals, calculations, and any other evidence to support your conclusion(s) that you created in Week 3. o Explain what information in the data tables is not needed for your analysis. o Discuss what you can conclude from the visuals. The purpose of this assignment is to gain experience creating visuals using the data for the topic you selected in Week 2. My major is Business Management; in 2016, I first received a Human Resources Certificate from the University of Phoenix as well. This math course, including Math 215 has allowed me to look at math in the real world. I can think about situations as they pertain to my every day life. Both professions require forecasting in some way. In Human Resources, forecasting is continuous to ensure that you are always well staffed. My current position is directly related to my Business Management degree. I work in the Executive Offices of a Fortune 500 company as an Analyst. In this role, we take on a lot of roles that effect the company. Forecasting is required for staff and products. The amount of product that we sell is probably on a greater scale than the tires; however, I think that it will fit my needs. My goal is to become more efficient with overall reporting.
