Final Essay Stage One - Topic - Submit Files

Hide Submission Folder Information

Stage 1 (Topic Selection) You are to select a topic for your final project from the FIP Selection List located in Content>Week 1>Film Industry Presentation and have it approved via email with that approval email copied to your Final Essay Stage One assignment folder before 11:59 p.m. EDT, Sunday, July 1.

Failure to post the approval email in the assignment folder by the deadline will result in 20 penalty points per day for a late submission.

Do not wait until the last minute. No two students will be allowed to have the same topic; therefore first come is first served.

Make sure you view the list in Page View on LEO. If you have the list open in Text View, you won’t be able to see the red notations indicating previously approved topics that are no longer available. This can be confusing because when you are correctly in Page View, the tab to change views will actually read View as Text.

Stage Two will not be accepted unless Stage One topic has been approved.

Make sure you carefully consider your project's objective and your ability to find acceptable resources and images before selecting your topic. You may feel engaged by a particular topic, but some will be easier to process than others. Choose wisely and investigate your resources before submitting for approval.

The FIP Selection list is located in Content>Week 1>Final Essay-Film Industry Presentation and will be updated as topics are selected and approved.

The Film Industry Presentation assignment sheet is included in this assignment folder.
