Provide two or three specific examples.Lindsey Bang - My philosophy of change is to accept it as a challenge. Change is a part of human life and it isn't going anywhere. you should go at it in a positive light and use it as a learning opportunity to better yourself.I believe my philosophy will help me grow my human capital and over all become a better person. I'm sure there are a small handful of companies that have never changed their mission, values, work flow, etc, but most companies have. In order to grow you must make adjustments and adapt. My philosophy supports and almost advocates fore these changes.In the future we are going to become more technology based then we are today. Everyday there is a change in technology and we rely more and more on it as human beings. Is this ideal? Of course not, have you seen the terminator?! :)but really we need to adapt to this lifestyle. When I take this on as a challenge it helps me to try my best at learning and growing with technology. I cant just give up and turn the other way. If i do, within months I wont be able to help my children with their homework and then before i know it i wont be able to operate a new car and I will be stuck at home forever.We need to welcome change because its happening before our eyes!Tonya Alyea - Nothing is consistent. Change happens everywhere and on a daily basis. My philosophy of change is to try and a keep a positive mindset. Sometimes that hard though! As an example, technology changes so much it is hard to keep up with. Sometimes this aggravates me. I have never been big on keeping up with technology. So sometimes it's hard to keep that positive attitude towards the changes for it. Thank goodness for me though, I have 17 year old who keeps up with all that and usually ends up having to show me how to use new technology! Keeping a positive attitude towards change can help me in the future because , I am actually in the process of making major changes in my life. I am talking like 2-3 big changes. So keeping a positive mindset on these changes will help by making the process for these changes smoother. It will also keep my stress level down! Christian Haney - I am always hesitant to change due to doubts, questions, etc., but I know change is inevitable. I've learned that you must go with the flow and look for the positives in change vs. seeing the negative. Without change, there is no growth. If we never changed, we would never grow and learn from our mistakes. I always refer to the age-old saying that what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger" when it comes to change.I recently found out I need another major ankle surgery. In the past, I would have let this ruin my day and the vacation I was leaving for the next day. However, I have changed and learned that it is pointless to dwell on things I can not change. I decided to look at the benefits of the surgery such as less pain and being able to double up on classes while out of work. My philosophy of change has allowed me to look at this in an accepting and positive light instead of getting depressed about it.Welcoming change allows us to move forward instead of backward!
