This assignment has two parts.
Part 1: In 250-500 words, use current research to identify patterns and trends of sexual behaviors and attitudes in adulthood. Examples could include, but are not limited to, Cohabitation, Marriage, Interracial Marriage, etc. Refer to Chapters 8 and 13 for additional topics.
Part 2: For the second part of this assignment, you will be creating a program to educate a specific population about sexuality. Choose one of the following populations:
Childhood
Adolescence
Late Adulthood
Create a presentation you would use to educate your chosen population about sexuality.
Be sure address the following in your presentation:
- Discuss a sexual problem the population is facing, including how you know it is a problem.
- Outline a plan of action in educating the specific population about the sexual problem being addressed. Including programs needed, anticipated challenges, and goals.
- Discuss how your plan of action is grounded in research, include statistics from research to show patterns and trends for the sexual problem being addressed.
While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

SEXUAL BEHAVIORS AND ATTITUDES
The transition to adulthood is a developmental stage that comes with increased
freedom and responsibility as well, to make decisions without much parental influence;
among them, decisions to do with sexual intimacy (Paat & Margaret Markham, 2016). It
is at this stage that individuals form and resolve romantic relationships in a bid to find the
right partner for marriage. This has brought about cohabitation which basically entails
developing a sexual relationship and living together without getting married.
According to Wood, Avellar, and Goesling (2008), young adults in the
contemporary society are intentionally delaying marriage and opting for cohabitation
which later precedes marriage (p. 40-41). This has increased the median age of marriage
for the women from 21 to 25 and 23 to 27 for me men as of the year 2005 (Wood,
Avellar & Goesling, 2008). The study by Wood, Avellar, and Goesling (2008) also
established that women are more likely to form romantic relationships as young adults
compared to the men with cohabiting being more common than marriage. Specifically,
the study found out that 39% of the sample had cohabited in their 20s. This means that
