With the cases of natural and manmade disaster going up, it has become necessary
to ensure that businesses and pretty much every system is shielded from the effects of
disasters (Noy & duPont, 2016). Disasters, as they occur, and even when they are expected
to occur can cause some direct and indirect losses to a business or an organization. When
they occur, the damages to businesses are more direct and expanded. When they are
expected to occur, such speculation has a negative effect on the profits and image of a
business. For example, the 9/11 attacks were damaging to business with America, both
during the attacks and when the fears associated with terror forced many people to seek
