- Synthesize what you learned from Hofstede’s website about both the U.S. and the country you selected.
- What cultural practices intrigued you? Why these?
- Analyze the cultural dimensions identified by Hofstede in the country you selected. What dimensions in this country do you believe the US can learn from? Provide a rational for your choice.
- Justify 5 recommendations you have for training expatriates from the US to work in this country.
- Defend 5 recommendations you have for training repatriates upon return to the US from this country.
Your paper should be a maximum of 3 pages long, with a title page and a maximum of 5 references in APA style.

The six dimensions that define the culture of different nations explain the cultural drivers
that affect the selected countries concerning differences and similarities. Japan and the United
States are both developed countries with robust economies, but they differ in several cultural
dimensions. According to the Hofstede Six Cultural dimensions, include power distance,
Indulgence, Individualism, Uncertainty Avoidance, masculinity, and long-term Orientation,
United States has a score 40,68,91,46,62, and 26 while Japan has 54, 42,46, 92, 95 and 88
