When we talk about internet tracking then it simply has different means as per the perspective of
a person. It mainly refers to the process and the act under which a person takes in order to
achieve existing websites thus tracking the changes to the website over time, this is done through
the use of applications which are available in different modes. This is commonly a critical
component which is used in the areas of marketing, sales and product support strategies. For the
internet or web tracking to take place in the current technology then there is use of special
software tools which are used in keeping the tabs on website visitors where the web trackers feed
a certain information on your website without your permission and in case that you have an
account online then there is high chance that they might use your name and they normally share
the information with other websites and that makes it easy to have information about you. For
one to be tracked, then bugs embedded in websites report back the information you have viewed
to the web manager and for the sites to gather statistics about you then there is the use of
“cookies” on your browsing history.
