Health information technology is transforming health care by enhancing the security of
healthcare records. The use of IT to store, retrieve, share and alter health records has led to the
use of EMR and EHR which have become readily available to the physicians, patients, and other
healthcare stakeholders. It has also enhanced periodic update of the health records and also
improved the privacy and confidentiality of the health care records used in many hospitals. One
