This is a news feature story on the state of the American Dream.
"The story of between 1,250 and 1,350 words will be based on seven to ten interviews and online research.
Your central task is to combine interviews with research and take stock 0f the American Dream.
What your interviewees share with you—their experiences, their views and their hopes—will form your story’s core. The research will buttress the interviews. More on this later.
As we know, the American Dream holds great meaning in the United States. Historically, it has been a firmly held belief that separates the United States from the rest of the world.
Making the dream reality means a comfortable and secure middle class life, complete with home ownership, college educations paid for with family college funds, great vacations and a host of other perks. It has long been an article of faith that if you worked hard enough the American Dream could be yours."

Apparently, to many Americans, the American dream is all about the best future. From
their perspective, Life is supposed to be better, fuller and more prosperous for every individual.
They also believe that there will be an equal opportunity for everyone according to their ability
or achievement as long as they work hard enough. The American dream has for many years been
an aspiration for every American child and adult (Izaguirre, 2014). Amazingly, the vision is not
limited to the American alone, but the world is also waiting to witness the great transformation.
According to most Americans, the dream has been converted into a belief that happiness can
only be achieved when one has their own homes in a good neighborhood, family cars, and a right
amount of savings for the golden years.
Unfortunately, the American dream cannot be pointed out in the modern setting. As much
as life has changed, there is a lot that the US is yet to achieve, the number of people enjoying the
American dream or anything close to the expectation is minimal. In today’s reality, millions in
America are not able to make their dreams come true however much they work hard because of
several reasons. The first problems facing a good proportion of people is the inability to get a
