Question Description
1. Discuss both cultural identity and cultural bias of Daisy and of Hoke. Discuss differences, similarities, and where each character’s point of view may or may not have merit.
2. What does Hoke represent to Daisy and does that remain constant throughout? Your answer should start from Daisy’s frame of mind in the beginning of the play and continue through to the end of the play.
3. Examine the relevance of the title, Driving Miss Daisy. What does it have to do with this script? I will give you a hint. It has nothing to do with driving a car. This answer should cover all characters in the script.
