Introduction:
Soap making has remained unchanged over the centuries. the standard Roman tradition needed
mixing rain water, potash and animal oil.
Making soap was AN extended and arduous technique. First, the fat had to be rendered (melted and
filtered). Then, potash resolution was additional . Since water and oil do not mix, this mixture had to
be continuously stirred and heated sufficiently to remain the fat melted . Slowly, a chemical
reaction spoken as reaction would happen between the fat and additionally the hydroxide that
