The involvement of America in the World War II at a global-scale resulted to a radical
rate of growth in the U.S. federal government. Establishment of an army out of the citizens and
creating the suitable workforce would necessitate an extensive enlargement of the federal
government’s power and the corresponding administration (Niskanen, 2017). The War PowersAct passed by Congress in 1941 permitted the then President Roosevelt to possess more power
over every dimension of effort during the war. This resulted to more growth of the U.S’s federal
government. This paper discusses the ways in which the World War II contributed to the growth
