Scenario 1: Terminating an employee

Francesca is a supervisor for a small team of male and female employee at a professional health and human services organization. She has been an employee at this office for 3 years, and in the supervisory position for the past 2 years. She is known as a person who follows rule, and treats everyone fairly. Recently Francesca placed an employee on probation for violating a known company policy. The employee has receive additional training on this policy again. Yesterday another supervisor came to Francesca to report that the employee violating the policy again, which warrants termination. Francesca needs to communicate the termination to the employee.

Your manager has been extremely busy due to a recent shortage of staff. She rarely has time to talk, and lately has appeared to be overwhelmed.
