The ramifications of the cyber-attack on Nebraska University is that the student
information system was rated as the biggest hack due to the number of students’ information
which was made available to the public. It led to a lot of funds going into trying to limit the
further leakage of data from the student information system. According to Roman (2012), the
hack exposed 21,000 individuals’ bank account data. The data was in the database and it
included students’ financial aid information and bank account information. This may have led to
