Plato’s argued that the proper goal of human’s life can be translated to their happiness and
well-being or good life. His discussion of virtues revolved around the four cardinal virtues;
temperance, fortitude, justice and prudence. He argued that humans desire to reach the
ultimate good through the knowledge of good and evil. One uses the three parts of soul, spirit,
appetite and reason guided by wisdom, courage, moderation and justice.
Aristotle considered ethics as practical not as a theoretical aspect. His theory considered
behavior conducted in the right manner to provide a means between extremes of excesses and
