Process evaluation paper.
The steps for process evaluation outlined by Bliss and Emshoff (2002) may seem very similar to those for conducting other types of evaluation that you have learned about in this course; in fact, it is the purpose and timing of a process evaluation that most distinguish it from other types of evaluation. A process evaluation is conducted during the implementation of the program to evaluate whether the program has been implemented as intended and how the delivery of a program can be improved. A process evaluation can also be useful in supporting an outcome evaluation by helping to determine the reason behind program outcomes. There are several reasons for conducting process evaluation throughout the implementation of a program. Chief among them is to compare the program that is being delivered to the original program plan, in order to identify gaps and make improvements. Therefore, documentation from the planning stage may prove useful when planning a process evaluation. For this Assignment, you either build on the work that you completed in Weeks 6, 7, and 8 related to a support group for caregivers, or on your knowledge about a program with which you are familiar. Review the resource “Workbook for Designing a Process Evaluation”. Information needed: a 4- to 5-page plan for a process evaluation. Include the following minimal information: A description of the key program elements A description of the strategies that the program uses to produce change A description of the needs of the target population An explanation of why a process evaluation is important for the program A plan for building relationships with the staff and management Broad questions to be answered by the process evaluation Specific questions to be answered by the process evaluation A plan for gathering and analyzing the information. communication paper , sociology homework help
Directions: 1100 words Choose a movie which focuses on intercultural
issues. This can be any intercultural topic either within a US or
international context (e.g., topics related to gender, race,
disabilities, sexual orientation, language, international travel). If
you are not sure whether your choice of movie fulfills the criteria,
come and talk to me.After watching the movie, provide a short
(not longer than 1 page) summary of the movie. Basically, tell me what
it was all about. (This summary is part of your paper, not a separate paper.)Then,
choose three intercultural or communication themes in the movie that
are of interest to you. For example, if the movie makes use of
stereotypes, this could be a theme. Or, if a character in the movie
cannot speak English, this could be a language theme. After identifying
three themes, describe these three themes by using examples from the
movie. For example, for the stereotype theme, choose scenes that
illustrate the stereotype(s) and explain/describe them to me.After
this part of the paper, relate the storyline/topic of the movie to
everyday life. Looking at each of the three themes that you chose to
write about, how do they influence our communication with other people
on a daily basis? For example, if you picked the language theme
mentioned above, what are the challenges communicating with someone who
cannot speak our language and vice versa?End your paper with a
general conclusion on whether you think that the movie you analyzed or
movies in general influence our perceptions and understanding of other
cultures. Were you influenced by what you saw in the movie?

SOCW 6443 Walden Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders Case Study
Assignment: Considering Alternative Treatment Options for Anxiety Disorders Imagine that you have been seeing a client
for 4 months. During treatment, you learn that he has been 5 years sober
but lately has felt an intense sense of anxiety and has requested a
referral to a psychiatrist. Upon returning to his counseling sessions,
you learn that the psychiatrist has prescribed diazepam, a
benzodiazepine. You are aware of the fact that the benzodiazepine
functions similarly to alcohol in the body. You are concerned about a
relapse because of this newly prescribed medication for the anxiety
disorder.Sometimes the medication a
doctor chooses to treat a client’s symptoms is ineffective or
inappropriate, or it may not create the desired effect without
intolerable side effects. Under what circumstances does it become
necessary for a mental health professional to advocate for an
alternative treatment for a client? What ethical issues associated with
client treatment would mental health professionals need to address? Why
would a release of information be needed? For
this Assignment, view the media case study titled “Anxiety Disorder
Case Study: Mary.”Assume the role of a mental health professional to
respond to the client call. Review the medication that the psychiatrist
prescribed and explain the expected effects and side effects of its use.
Plan a treatment strategy.By Day 7In a 2- to 3-page, APA-formatted paper, include the following:An explanation of any concerns, ethical or otherwise, you may have regarding the client’s generalized anxiety disorder treatmentAn explanation of the factors you would take into consideration in
developing a strategy to treat the client’s generalized anxiety disorderAn explanation of a treatment strategy for the client’s generalized
anxiety disorder along with a justification for your strategyAn explanation of how you would advocate for your treatment strategyRequired Readings
