Question 1
For a business trip to China, I would make a business card that looks professional and is
sensitive to the local culture and tradition. In the cultural composition of China involves a
combination of the religion, traditional and social beliefs and therefore I would be sensitive. For
instance, I would not use some of the epidemiological tools on the card.
Question 2
I would expect the health-care providers to be there on time. Mostly, the medical
providers in the area strive hard to educate the locals on the advantages of the modern
medication, and hence they would react faster towards my meeting. It is, however, difficult to
expect a 100-percent turn up on time as there are some of the medical providers who feel that a
little or nothing at all could change.
Question 3
Some of the food that I could expect could include lobster, crabs, snakes, vegetables. The
food, according to my expectation would be presented on a plate but served for the whole family
at once. It is because the Chinese people and tradition are that people serve food one after
another. If the diet helps something that I do not like, I would take the plate and reserve it then
excuse myself.
