With the rising rate of globalization around the world, demand has also rose and many
businesses have taken as an advantage and a disadvantage at the same time. However in order to
remain competitive in the market or rather the industry upon which the company is situated, a
strategic subject for every business has to be adopted and in this case, coming up with a logistics
network design. A logistics network design is mostly referred to as a supply chain stream.
According to Christopher (2016), logistics network design is basically a system or a sequence of
operations or organizations that work hand in hand to ensure that the product or service is
delivered to the market successfully from the design to the production or manufacturing stages of
the same. It is a network strategized to minimize costs and maximize profits by cutting off any
unnecessary expense from the production cost to the transportation cost and eventually to the
inventory and warehousing costs.
