The modern world has significantly influenced traditional culture through new velocity,
intensity, extensity, and impact. More so, globalization has been at the forefront of fueling
changes to the culture as previously known through intermarriages, migration, technology, and
communications to ‘cultural others’. Consequently, some fundamental aspects of different
cultures such as fortitude, stoicism, courage, and fidelity have been watered down or influenced
to change in one way or another. Therefore, despite the inevitable challenges caused by cultural
differences due to globalization, the relevance of today’s relationships cannot be overemphasized
in order to achieve the best harmony of multiculturalism especially in feign students (Niekerk,
2012).
Cross-cultural interactions are a more complex concept mainly due to the integration of
