Many of you participated in interscholastic (school) sports growing up either as an athlete, coach, trainer, etc. Share a bit from your own experiences where you may have encountered negligence, either personally or something that happened at your school, the local YMCA, etc. Was there legal liability? Could there have been liability? What could the coach/school/organization have done differently?

Schools are social institutions, which nurture young and talented individuals by
imparting knowledge skills. Students get a chance to interact with other colleagues from
different states through educative seminars, symposiums and specifically through competitive
sporting activities like football, basketball, swimming, walking and walking race. However,
negligence occurs resulting in harming of those participating in these sporting activities.
According to Hachiya, Shoop, & Dunklee (2014), negligence refers to a tort which
exists when someone is injured due to the unreasonable risk is taken by another person. One
