An international market refers to any geographical region where a company conducts
business that is outside the territorial boundaries of a company’s home country (Burgel, &
Murray, 2000). Currently, most of the companies are going global and hence start operating
their businesses oversees this is in strive to expand and look for new markets in the areas that
they never exploited before. Different challenges come with the starting a company, and hence it
calls for the business executives to have an excellent strategic plan so to venture in those markets
and thus avoid collapsing following the challenges in the new country. In this discussion, I will
compare some of Nestle Corporation and Unilever companies’ strategies that they employ
towards the international markets. That is the similarities and differences in their approach to
