tremendously bringing into question the effects it has on the criminal justice system. This essay
gives an exposition of how the media portrays the criminal justice system, its impact in as far as
coverage of sensationalistic crime is concerned and the correlation between crime and factors
such as age, education, and others. The relationship between the media and the criminal justice
