Describe your experience
I am present in a dancing class, I am surrounded by different people some are friends others are
strangers. It is my first time to attend the dancing class. A dancing class is a place you arrive 10
minutes earlier and to warm up as you prepare for the class. In front of me is a stage with the
instructor and his manual. The instructor writes a question about the origin salsa on the blackboard
and asks to write our opinions before we start the warm ups.
2. Intentional Attention
Describe what you noticed
BREATH: my breath is peaceful because I think that I will learn a few salsa moves.
BODY: I am sitting on a chair upright with my hands on my book. My body is not relaxed
because I have no idea on how to approach the question.
EMOTIONS: I am excited and a bit tensed at the first time because this is my first time to attend
a dancing class.
THOUGHTS: Although I have no idea about the question, I think that I am not the only person
who is new in the class.
