Students’ plagiarizing is a writing problem that most students face in major academic
fields like high school, colleges and universities. The issue of plagiarism exists as students
struggle to gain credit by use of other people’s work. Student’s laziness, lack of confidence and
poor time management are proofs for the existence of plagiarism. Basically, plagiarism is a
violation of academic integrity and there is need to ensure schools produce graduates who
competent enough to fit in the job positions in the world. This paper will discuss what causes

Laziness is one of the many reasons that cause students to plagiarize their work. Lazy
